Company Profile

Atlas JMFS Investment Services Limited was formed on 23rd July 2010 following the agreement in 2009 by the boards of directors of Atlas Investment Services Limited (AISL) and Jesmond Mizzi Financial Services Limited (JMFS) to merge.

The aim of the merger was to strengthen and enhance the quality of service and commitment to all our clients' investment requirements. The companies were convinced that their combined track records, solid financial standing and reliability will greatly benefit their collective client base.

With the combined human and financial resources the merged company shall serve the clients better irrespective of their net asset worth. Furthermore, from a company point of view, we believe that our joined, and thus wider, spectrum of clients, will strengthen our company further.

Atlas Investment Services Ltd dates back to 1996 when it obtained an Investment Services Licence from the MFSC (now MFSA). Throughout the years it has, in the main, focused on high net worth individuals offering various investment services whilst acting as a member firm of the Malta Stock Exchange.

Jesmond Mizzi Financial Services Limited (JMFS) was set up in 2002 and was issued a Category 2 Investment Services license by the MFSA. Over the years, the company offered a comprehensive range of financial products and services designed to meet the various needs of it's personal, corporate and institutional clients. In 2007 the company acquired the client base of a leading local financial services provider as part of its growth strategy.

Jesmond Mizzi serves as Managing Director whilst John Catania and Mark Azzopardi serve as executive directors with Mr Catania serving as Operations Director and Mr Azzopardi as Finance Director.

Atlas JMFS Investment Services Limited has recently been appointed representatives of Henderson Global Investors in Malta. As a result of this appointment the companies have launched nine Henderson sub-funds of the Henderson Horizon Fund.

The sub-funds of the Henderson Horizon Funds which have been authorised to be marketed in Malta are eight equity funds and one bond fund. The equity funds vary from country specific, regional as well as sector funds including a China fund, an Asian fund, three European Equity funds, a Technology fund and a Properties Equity fund as well as an Industries of the Future fund. The bond fund is a Euro Corporate Bond fund investing mainly in investment grade bonds.

Atlas JMFS Investment Services Limited is licensed to conduct investment services by the Malta Financial Services Authority. Henderson Horizon Funds are incorporated in Ireland and regulated by the Irish Financial Regulator. The Fund is advertised in Malta in terms of the UCITS directive.
